Leading the Transformation of Madinah

With nearly two decades of experience in engineering, urban development, and executive leadership, Fahad oversees the planning and execution of major development projects that enhance Madinah’s economic, social, and urban landscape. His leadership focuses on creating a modern, sustainable city while preserving its rich cultural and historical significance.

A Career Built on Strategic Development

Before assuming his current leadership roles, Fahad served in several executive positions at Al Madinah Region Development Authority, progressing from Project Department Manager to Assistant Secretary General before being appointed Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade as a Project Engineer at JGC Gulf International Co. Ltd., building extensive expertise in large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, he serves as Chairman of the Board of ALMQR Development Company, Chairman of the Board of Saden Almadina for Facilities Management, Board Member of Madac School, and Chairman of the Executive Committee and Board Member of Mojtamee, contributing to the region’s broader economic and community development.

Building Tomorrow’s Cities

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an Executive MBA, and an Executive MSc in Cities from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Fahad combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to advance sustainable urban development and improve quality of life across the Madinah region.
