At Raissy Trading and Contracting Company Ltd., Al Odailah serves as Executive Vice President, a role he has held since September 2022, alongside his responsibilities as Deputy Executive Director since August 2019.

Raissy is a subsidiary of Al-Khudair Holding Co. Ltd. focused on advanced engineering services, transmission-line construction, and complex projects. Building a Foundation in Energy and Engineering

Before moving into executive management, Al Odailah developed extensive technical and operational expertise through more than 12 years with Saudi Electricity Company.

As Power Plant Maintenance Manager from 2016 to 2019, he built a maintenance department at a new power plant from the ground up. His responsibilities included establishing teams, policies and procedures, KPIs, safety and health practices, and training programs.

He also developed long-range maintenance strategies incorporating predictive maintenance, condition-based maintenance, preventive maintenance, and cost-analysis tools.

Earlier, as Head of Mechanical Maintenance from 2010 to 2016, he led maintenance functions covering operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. His work included maintenance planning, operational effectiveness, project delivery, downtime reduction, KPI management, continuous improvement, technical best practices, and team development.

Progression From Technical Expertise to Executive Leadership

Al Odailah began his career with the Royal Saudi Air Force as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and Rotating Equipment Engineer, where he worked on preventive maintenance, rotating equipment, valves, heat exchangers, boilers, technical reporting, and root-cause analysis.

He later joined Saudi Electricity Company as a Maintenance Engineer and subsequently served as Generation Engineer – Technical Support. These positions strengthened his expertise in gas turbine maintenance, technical problem-solving, maintenance documentation, contract and project scopes, vibration analysis, warranty claims, and root-cause analysis.

This technical foundation provided a strong platform for his subsequent transition into broader operational, commercial, and executive leadership.

Beyond his engineering background, Al Odailah has developed a broad managerial skill set encompassing mergers and acquisitions, executive vision and direction, strategic planning, policy formulation, operational excellence, budgeting, corporate strategy, business performance, and efficiency improvement.

His commercial expertise includes sales, marketing, business development, market intelligence, stakeholder relationships, cost management, and client relationship management. His professional approach combines management techniques with business knowledge and disciplined oversight of people, technology, and processes.

Al Odailah holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University, completed between 1997 and 2002. He also earned a Diploma in Computer Sciences as a Programmer from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

His professional certifications include Mechanical Engineering Consultant, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT), and NASP Certified Trainer. He also holds the PMP® credential.
