Ahmed Yehia has built an extensive career across telecommunications, commercial leadership, marketing, sales, and digital transformation. His professional journey began as a Telecommunications Engineer at Siemens Technology and Services before he joined Vodafone, where he spent 16 years progressing through increasingly senior roles.
At Vodafone Egypt, Yehia developed broad expertise across marketing, international and roaming services, retail, sales, and commercial operations. As Head of Retail, he managed a network spanning 200 stores and 20 shop-in-shop locations. He later served as Director of Sales and Retail, with responsibility for sales and profit performance while maintaining a strong focus on competitive positioning and customer experience.

Yehia joined e& Egypt in 2016 as Vice President of Marketing and later became Chief Commercial Officer in 2018, a position he held until October 2024.
Across these leadership roles, he worked at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer needs, and digital innovation, contributing to the evolution of e& Egypt’s offerings and market presence.
In October 2024, he took on his current role as CEO of FinTech and Digital Lifestyle at e& Egypt, expanding his focus beyond traditional telecommunications toward digital financial services and lifestyle ecosystems.

For Yehia, technology has value when it creates tangible improvements in people’s everyday lives. His professional profile highlights his involvement in initiatives including an instant IMR service in Egypt and the development of a music application, reflecting his belief that innovation should be practical, accessible, and capable of reaching people at scale.
His current leadership focus is centered on building digital ecosystems that enable people to bank, pay, connect, and access services more seamlessly.
Yehia’s leadership philosophy brings together technology, business transformation, and customer experience. Rather than viewing digital infrastructure simply as a technological capability, he emphasizes its potential to unlock inclusion, growth, and opportunity across Egypt and the wider region.
This perspective is supported by his experience working across commercial, product, marketing, sales, and customer-facing functions, giving him a broad understanding of how digital services can translate into real-world value.
Yehia holds an MBA in Strategic Management and International Business from the German University in Cairo and a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Ain Shams University. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program and a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching.
His combination of technical education, commercial leadership, and executive development has shaped a career focused on connecting technology with business performance and customer impact.

Ahmed Yehia represents a new generation of digital executives transforming the role of telecommunications companies into broader technology and lifestyle ecosystems. Through his leadership at e& Egypt, he is helping advance a vision in which digital finance, connectivity, and everyday services work together to create simpler experiences and wider opportunities for customers across Egypt and the region.
