Ahmad Ahmad, MENA Government & Infrastructure Industry Leader at EY, has built a distinguished career advising governments and organizations on governance, business transformation, and strategic consulting.

In his current role as MENA Government & Infrastructure Industry Leader at EY, Ahmad leads the firm’s industry focus on supporting government entities and infrastructure organizations across the region. His work centers on helping clients strengthen governance frameworks, improve operational performance, and deliver transformational initiatives that support long-term economic development.
Alongside this role, he also serves as Consulting Partner & Chief Operating Officer (COO), contributing to the strategic leadership and operational management of EY’s consulting practice in the region.
Ahmad’s professional journey spans nearly three decades in management consulting. Since joining Ernst & Young (EY), he has held several senior leadership positions, including Business Consulting Leader, Risk Consulting Leader, and Consulting Partner, leading advisory engagements across multiple sectors.
Throughout these leadership roles, he has worked with organizations to strengthen governance, improve business performance, manage organizational risk, and execute complex transformation initiatives that align with evolving economic and regulatory priorities.
Earlier in his career, Ahmad served as a Manager at Arthur Andersen, where he developed extensive experience in business advisory and consulting that continues to inform his leadership today.

Across his consulting career, Ahmad has focused on helping organizations improve decision-making, governance, and operational effectiveness while supporting large-scale transformation initiatives. His expertise in business consulting and leadership enables public and private sector organizations to navigate increasingly complex business environments with greater confidence and resilience.
Ahmad holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Missouri State University, providing a strong academic foundation that complements his extensive consulting and executive leadership experience.
