Before joining Arady, Sherif served as CEO of ELSEWEDY UTILITIES from November 2022 to June 2026. His executive experience reflects a strong combination of business development, operational leadership, strategic initiatives, and commercial management.

Previously, as Senior Business Development Manager – Africa Projects at ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, he worked across client relationships, strategic opportunities, project pipelines, business proposals, contract negotiations, and integrated energy solutions.

Sherif’s career spans energy, power, renewable energy, and industrial projects. At National Electricity Technology Co. (Khorafi Group), he held the position of Commercial & Business Development Manager, gaining extensive experience in project management, sales, account management, general management, and the execution of cogeneration and central power projects.

His experience also includes renewable and solar energy, market studies, prospective asset acquisitions, and the development of business opportunities. Across his career, he contributed to projects with a combined value exceeding L.E. 200 million, based on the achievements stated in his professional profile.

Sherif has developed strong relationships across the energy value chain, including with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Authority, Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency, New and Renewable Energy Authority, ABB, and Wartsila.

His career has also involved developing cross-functional teams, supporting market launches, evaluating opportunities, and connecting customer needs with commercial and operational solutions.

Sherif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication from Ain Shams University and an MBA from Cambridge College. His professional credentials include Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Project Management Diploma (PMD), Executive Leadership, and Strategic Planning Foundations.
