
Saud AlHawawi has built a diverse career spanning more than 19 years across technology, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, venture capital, and investment operations. Beginning with a Diploma in Computer Programming from the Institute of Public Administration and later earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Marketing), he has combined technical expertise with strategic investment leadership to support innovation across Saudi Arabia.
As Funds Investment & Operation Senior Manager at stc and a key member of tali ventures by stc, Saud has contributed to establishing and growing the venture fund, strengthening its operational framework, and positioning its brand within the regional and global venture capital ecosystem.
He has actively supported investment execution, due diligence, portfolio evaluation, and deal-flow management, contributing to investments in companies including Nile, Rewaa, Celona, NorthLadder, and Cohere. He also played an important role in developing the fund’s website and internal investment management systems.
Throughout the past seven years, Saud has helped numerous startups with marketing, public relations, and strategic guidance, assisting many in securing investment and scaling their businesses. Several of the ventures he supported have gone on to become major success stories within the regional startup ecosystem.
Beyond venture capital, Saud has made significant contributions to Arabic technology media. As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of TechWorld (عالم التقنية), he built one of the region’s recognized technology platforms, earning industry awards and collaborating with leading technology companies and regional innovation events.
He also co-founded Jawlah.co, further promoting entrepreneurship, investment awareness, and startup knowledge across the Arab world.
Prior to his investment leadership roles, Saud held strategic positions at stc, BADIR Program, Tawuniya, National Net Ventures (N2V), Al Riyadh Newspaper, and Vinnell Arabia, gaining extensive experience in business strategy, communications, digital transformation, and innovation management.
Through venture capital, startup enablement, and ecosystem development, Saud AlHawawi continues to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and private sector growth while helping create sustainable opportunities for emerging technology companies.
