
Since becoming Chief Executive Officer of Naseej B.S.C. (c) in February 2023, Amin Alarrayed has guided the company’s strategic direction across real estate and infrastructure investment. Under his leadership, Naseej operates with a capitalization of USD 286 million and focuses on affordable housing projects totaling more than USD 800 million.
His approach combines strategic investment, innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable development, reinforcing Naseej’s role within Bahrain’s evolving real estate landscape.
Before joining Naseej, Alarrayed served as CEO of Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah) from 2018 to 2023. Earlier, he spent more than 11 years as the founding CEO of First Bahrain Real Estate Development Co., where he was instrumental in developing projects including El Mercado and Majaal at Bahrain Investment Wharf.
His career also includes nearly five years as Regional Head of Retail Banking at Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait and more than four years as Superintendent of Domestic Affairs at the Central Bank of Bahrain.
Alarrayed’s experience extends beyond executive management into corporate governance and financial-sector leadership. He served on the Board of the National Bank of Bahrain from 2020 to 2024, contributing through its Executive, Nomination, Remuneration, Governance, and Sustainability Committees.
His professional journey has also included engagement with the Central Bank of Bahrain and participation in the International Monetary Fund’s Article IV Consultations, giving him substantial exposure to regulatory and economic policy matters.
Throughout his career, Alarrayed has contributed to the development and market positioning of brands including First Bahrain, Amakin, Amana, Majaal, and El Mercado. In 2023, he also served as an advisor to the CEO of Mumtalakat, providing strategic guidance on real estate and financial transactions.
His commitment to technology, innovation, and sustainability has further positioned him as a contributor to discussions shaping the future of real estate and financial services.
Alarrayed holds an MBA with Distinction from DePaul University’s Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & International Relations from the University of Redlands.
