A Strategic Leadership Journey

Abunayyan has been with Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company for more than eight years, progressing through roles that have given him broad exposure to business performance, strategic planning, transformation, and executive leadership.

He became Chief Executive Officer in November 2020, following three years as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. In that role, he contributed to the company’s Breakthrough Transformation Program, supporting initiatives designed to strengthen long-term performance and organizational effectiveness.

His leadership approach centers on aligning organizational priorities with practical execution, building strong teams, and creating sustainable foundations for growth.

“Execution strategy” has remained a defining element of Abunayyan’s approach to translating organizational goals into measurable progress.

Building High-Performance Organizations

Before becoming CEO, Abunayyan served as Business Performance and Strategic Planning Manager and Project Manager at Shaker Company. These positions strengthened his experience in performance management, strategic planning, and project execution.

His professional journey also includes experience in customer satisfaction and quality planning at LG–Shaker Co. Ltd., adding a customer and quality-focused dimension to his business leadership background.

Governance and Board Leadership

Alongside his executive responsibilities, Abunayyan has developed a significant portfolio of board-level experience.

He has served as a Board Member of Abunayyan Holding since 2018, while also serving on the boards of Water and Environment Technologies Company (WETICO) and Arabian Oud.

These responsibilities reflect his broader involvement in corporate governance, strategic oversight, and organizational development across prominent Saudi businesses.

Education and Executive Development

Abunayyan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Quality Management from AlYamamah University.

His executive development includes the Management Acceleration Program at INSEAD and Execution Strategy for Results at London Business School, strengthening his expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational execution.
