A Career Built on Development Excellence

With more than 19 years of experience across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and Egypt, Mohamed has successfully led complex developments spanning luxury hospitality, retail, residential communities, commercial offices, and large-scale mixed-use masterplans.

Beginning his career as a Structural Design Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah, he contributed to internationally recognized infrastructure and landmark projects, including Dubai International Airport Terminal 3, developments in Makkah, Angola, and Nigeria. This strong technical foundation would later evolve into executive leadership across some of the region’s most prestigious real estate organizations.

Driving Saudi Arabia’s Most Ambitious Developments

Mohamed currently serves as President of DevCo at Diriyah Company, where he oversees development initiatives that are central to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 transformation.

Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Development Officer and Vice President at the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, leading the development of major masterplans including Diriyah Gate, Wadi Safar, and Wadi Hanifah.

These landmark developments combine luxury hospitality, cultural attractions, residential communities, retail destinations, public spaces, and world-class infrastructure, positioning Diriyah as one of the world’s premier heritage and lifestyle destinations.

Before joining Diriyah, Mohamed spent nearly six years with Majid Al Futtaim, where he led the development of some of the Middle East’s most prominent retail and entertainment destinations.

His portfolio included City Centre Almaza in Cairo and the iconic Mall of Oman, a flagship destination that introduced one of the region’s most distinctive integrated retail and entertainment experiences.

These projects demonstrated his ability to manage highly complex developments involving multiple stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on commercial value, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Entrepreneurial Leadership

Earlier in his career, Mohamed founded and led East Sky Contracting in Dubai, successfully delivering luxury villas, mansions, and residential developments while building a reputation for quality execution and client satisfaction.

He later expanded his leadership experience as General Manager at Living In Interiors, overseeing residential, retail, commercial, and luxury interior projects while working alongside international investors and premium global brands.

These entrepreneurial experiences strengthened his commercial perspective and reinforced his ability to lead organizations through growth, transformation, and complex project delivery.
