Parikh also served as Chief Executive Officer of Lacework, leading the cybersecurity company from November 2022 to July 2024. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Co-Chief Executive Officer from July 2021 to October 2022.

Lacework was subsequently acquired by Fortinet, marking another chapter in Parikh’s experience leading technology organizations through periods of transformation and strategic change.

Parikh’s professional journey began in consulting at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) before moving into engineering leadership roles at NetGravity, Akamai Technologies, and Ning.

At Akamai, he served as Vice President of Engineering for more than eight years, followed by his senior leadership role at Ning. These experiences established a foundation in engineering, operations, distributed technology, and organizational scaling that later informed his leadership at Facebook, Lacework, and Microsoft.
