
Delivering complex infrastructure and building projects requires engineering leaders who combine technical expertise with strategic project execution. Husseini E. Mohamed, CHD, MIET, has established himself as one of the region’s accomplished MEP engineering professionals, leading multidisciplinary teams across major developments in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at Consultancy Group in Riyadh, Husseini leads MEP design strategy, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery for fast-track developments. His leadership encompasses HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, infrastructure wet utilities, and electrical systems while ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, ASHRAE, and international engineering standards.
With more than 18 years of professional experience, he has successfully contributed to healthcare facilities, data centers, hospitality developments, high-rise buildings, residential communities, government projects, educational institutions, and sports infrastructure.
Throughout his career, Husseini has collaborated with globally recognized engineering and consultancy firms, including WOOD, Atkins, SSH, Gensler, DAR, Mace, Parsons, AECOM, Arcadis, and DLR. His expertise extends across value engineering, BIM-led coordination, risk management, technical governance, and sustainable engineering solutions.
During his tenure at AlKifah Holding, he played a key role in securing significant project savings, including more than SAR 7 million on the Red Sea project through value engineering initiatives, while also resolving complex technical challenges that generated additional cost savings and supported project continuity.
Prior to his current role, Husseini held senior engineering and leadership positions with BEC Arabia, AlKifah Holding, Alogayell Consulting Engineers, Tanmeiah Engineering Consultancy, and Delta Consulting Engineers, steadily progressing from site engineering to principal engineering leadership.
His career reflects consistent dedication to engineering quality, project governance, and multidisciplinary collaboration across both design and construction environments.
Husseini is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and is progressing toward Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. His professional credentials include Certified HVAC Designer (CHD) from ASHRAE, LEED® Green Associate, Chartered Consultant – Saudi Engineering Council, and Civil Defense Fire & Life Safety Certification, demonstrating his commitment to engineering excellence and sustainable design.
