Across the Middle East, investment has become a powerful catalyst for economic transformation. As organisations expand into new markets, pursue strategic acquisitions, and diversify their portfolios, financial leadership has evolved beyond managing capital. It now requires the ability to identify opportunities, assess long-term value, and build investment strategies that support sustainable growth. Akram Alchammaa has built his career around this evolving role.
As Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Accord Partners, Alchammaa brings together extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, valuation, treasury, and investment management. His career reflects a consistent focus on helping organisations make informed strategic decisions while creating value for shareholders and strengthening long-term business performance.

The most significant investment decisions are rarely defined by financial analysis alone. They require a deep understanding of markets, business models, governance, and long-term strategic objectives.
Throughout his career, Alchammaa has advised and led organisations across telecommunications, media, agriculture, financial services, and diversified industries, helping them navigate complex investment decisions, acquisitions, and corporate growth initiatives.
His multidisciplinary experience has enabled him to evaluate opportunities from both an investor’s and an operator’s perspective, ensuring that financial decisions remain aligned with broader business objectives.
“Successful investments are not measured only by financial returns, but by the long-term value they create for businesses, economies, and society.”

Before co-founding Accord Partners, Alchammaa held senior leadership positions at some of Saudi Arabia’s leading organisations.
At solutions by stc, he led investment management, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance initiatives, supporting strategic transactions and investment opportunities during a period of significant growth for the organisation.
His subsequent appointment as Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Planning, Performance Management, Partnerships, and Mergers & Acquisitions at Mobily further expanded his leadership responsibilities, placing him at the centre of strategic decision-making, corporate partnerships, and long-term business planning.
These roles strengthened his expertise in evaluating opportunities that contribute to sustainable business expansion while maintaining financial discipline and shareholder value.

One defining characteristic of Alchammaa’s career is the diversity of sectors in which he has operated.
His leadership journey includes investment and portfolio management at SALIC, funding and finance within Saudi Downtown Company, investment management at Saudi Research and Media Group, structured finance and equity research at Saudi Fransi Capital, and corporate finance leadership at Rawabi Holding Group.
This breadth of experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how different industries approach investment, capital allocation, and strategic growth, allowing him to develop investment strategies that balance opportunity with disciplined risk management.
For Alchammaa, investment is about more than financial transactions.
It is about identifying businesses with long-term potential, building partnerships that create shared value, and helping organisations position themselves for future opportunities in an increasingly competitive economy.
His leadership continues to emphasise:
By combining analytical expertise with strategic thinking, he continues to help organisations pursue growth while maintaining financial resilience.

Alongside his executive career, Alchammaa has consistently invested in expanding his professional expertise.
As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and holder of advanced degrees in finance, business administration, and project management, he combines technical knowledge with practical executive experience. His recognition through honorary doctorates in Banking and Financial Management and Investment Management further reflects his commitment to professional excellence and lifelong learning.
