His current and recent appointments include Board Member at Alinma, Retal, Maaden, ACWA Power, Saudi Airlines, CITC, and the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission, as well as Chairman of the Board Advisory Committee at the Digital Government Authority.

He has also served as Vice Chairman of Saudi Azm and held leadership positions across logistics, ports, food, industrial, cultural, and technology organizations.

Transforming Government Through Technology

Earlier in his career, Alhakbani served as Transformation Director at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working on transformation across people, processes, technology, and governance.

He also managed the transformation of the Ministry’s IT and Communications General Directorate, supporting operations across more than 120 locations worldwide.

Earlier, at the Saudi National E-Government Program, he contributed to the development of Saudi Arabia’s first National E-Government Action Plan and managed several e-services initiatives, including the first national e-government portal.

Advancing Saudi Business Globally

As Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Alhakbani contributed to international commercial development. He previously served as Secretary-General and Board Member of the Saudi Exports Development Authority, supporting efforts to promote Saudi goods and services internationally.
