Sami Al Jasser: Leading Misk City Through Strategic Development and Transformation

Sami Al Jasser is the Chief Executive Officer of Misk City, bringing extensive experience across Saudi Arabia’s energy, development, transformation, and strategic planning sectors. His career spans more than two decades, including leadership roles at Misk City, the National Transformation Program, Qiddiya Investment Company, and Saudi Aramco.

Leading Misk City

Since March 2026, Sami Al Jasser has served as Chief Executive Officer of Misk City, following his earlier appointment as an Executive Committee Member in February 2024. In his current role, he contributes to the leadership and development of Misk City while continuing his involvement in strategic initiatives through the organization’s executive committee.

His work at Misk City builds on a career focused on major development programs, strategic transformation, and project management within Saudi Arabia.

Strategic Leadership in National Transformation

Before joining Misk City as CEO, Al Jasser served as Chief Strategy Officer at the National Transformation Program from November 2022 to March 2026. The role added a strong strategic dimension to his experience, following several years in major development leadership.

From 2018 to 2022, he was Executive Director – Development at Qiddiya Investment Company, contributing to one of Saudi Arabia’s major development organizations. Earlier, he spent more than 17 years at Saudi Aramco in Project Management, building extensive experience in managing complex projects and organizational priorities.

Board and Advisory Contributions

Alongside his executive responsibilities, Al Jasser contributes to organizational governance and strategic advisory activities. He has served as a Board Member of Raznat Aljoud Medical Company since January 2025 and has been a member of the Capital Projects Advisory Committee for Misk City at the Misk Foundation since March 2023.

These roles complement his executive career by extending his involvement across leadership, development, and advisory responsibilities.

Engineering and Sustainable Energy Foundation

Al Jasser’s professional journey is supported by an engineering and sustainability-focused academic background. He earned a Master’s degree in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2015.

He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, completed between 2002 and 2006. His education provides a technical foundation that complements his subsequent leadership experience across infrastructure, development, strategy, and transformation.
