
Qusai AlSaif is a seasoned investment executive with extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, fund management, and corporate governance. Holding an MBA from Queen’s University (Smith School of Business) alongside executive education from Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, and UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, he has built a career centered on identifying high-growth investment opportunities and supporting the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurial landscape.
As Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Sadu Capital, Qusai leads the firm’s strategic direction, overseeing investment management, portfolio growth, and long-term value creation. His leadership focuses on supporting innovative businesses, fostering sustainable growth, and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s investment ecosystem in alignment with Vision 2030.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Qusai serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCPEA) and is also one of its founding members. Through this role, he actively contributes to advancing the Kingdom’s venture capital and private equity industries by promoting collaboration, industry standards, and investment best practices.
Throughout his career, Qusai has served on the boards and investment committees of several leading technology and growth-stage companies. His governance experience includes organizations such as Foodics, Unifonic, Sure International Technology, arabot, B8ak, and Riyadh Angel Investors, where he has supported business scaling, investment strategy, and long-term value creation.
His expertise spans fintech, insurtech, SaaS, food technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, making him a trusted advisor within Saudi Arabia’s innovation ecosystem.
Prior to Sadu Capital, Qusai managed private equity and venture capital portfolios at Riyad Capital and was part of the investment team behind the Riyad TAQNIA Fund (RTF), a USD 125 million venture capital fund investing in high-growth technology companies across Seed, Series A, and Series B stages. During this period, he contributed to evaluating investment opportunities, supporting portfolio companies, and strengthening venture capital activity throughout the region.
Earlier in his career at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), he managed high-value industrial investment portfolios, conducted financial and technical feasibility studies, and advised on projects valued at over USD 100 million.
