A Distinguished Career in Public and Private Sector Leadership

Before assuming his role as Governor of CST, Haitham AlOhaly served as Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, where he contributed to advancing Saudi Arabia’s national digital agenda and strengthening the Kingdom’s technology ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, he spent more than twelve years at Cisco, progressing through several leadership positions, including Managing Director, Director of Public Sector, and Regional Sales leadership roles. During this period, he worked closely with government organizations and strategic sectors, supporting the adoption of advanced networking and digital technologies across Saudi Arabia.

His professional journey also includes leadership roles at ICDL Saudi and Motorola, where he built a strong foundation in telecommunications, engineering, and technology solutions.

Throughout his career, Haitham AlOhaly has focused on accelerating digital innovation, strengthening communications infrastructure, and supporting technology-driven economic growth.
