A graduate of Minia University with a Bachelor’s in Tourism and Hotel Management, Hanibal furthered his expertise at Oxford Brookes University’s Masters Revenue Academy. His career began in front-office operations with Steigenberger and Savoy Sharm Group before embarking on an 18-year journey with IHG Hotels & Resorts.
His early roles established a disciplined foundation, progressing from Front Office to Reservations leadership at InterContinental properties in Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada.

As Area Director of Revenue Management for the Northern Gulf (Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman), Hanibal commanded 22 hotels. Under his leadership, these properties achieved perfect metrics across all KPIs, representing the highest achievement across the IMEA region.

Transitioning to Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Hanibal elevated ultra-luxury performance from the Bangkok headquarters. He mastered channel optimization and total revenue frameworks for Asia’s premier luxury portfolio, where he was awarded Best Regional Support Award – Asia Region during MINOR annual excellence awards conference in 2024.
Currently, as Assistant Vice President of Revenue & eDistribution at Centara Hotels & Resorts, Hanibal drives enterprise-wide transformation. His leadership integrates rooms, F&B, events, spa, and loyalty streams through advanced analytics and distribution excellence.
