Extensive Industry Experience and Strategic Leadership.

Before leading ACWA Power, Zeyad had spent and invested alot in his time working at Saudi Aramco to sharpen and grow his leadership skills under the supervision of world class leading institutes, held several critical roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Acting CEO and Country Director.

It is worth noting that Zeyad is one of the very few leaders who obtained the Risk Management certificate since very early by the ERM Institue, London. He is certified as an Operational Excellence expert. His educational credentials include a Master of Engineering and Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن (King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals).

Zeyad holds professional certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials, Quality Management, Planning and Scheduling Certificates.

His strategic focus on resilience and efficiency applies risk management principles and technological innovation giving the company a competitive edge.
